ESI Design

The nationally-renowned firm ESI Design based their design for INFINITY on the actual work and ideas of Stennis Space Center's resident scientists, engineers, and technicians. Throughout the fun, hands-on experience, visitors assume the roles of scientists and engineers and explore real world challenges or "missions" to discover the impact of
science and mathematics on the world around them. ESI worked collaboratively with the resident agencies and corporations to translate their passion and ideas into an exciting exhibit program. The experience is therefore infused with the scientists' enthusiasm for
their subjects, their thirst to learn more, and their passion for sharing what they know with others linked with doing things that are really fun. This spirit, above all else, will inspire the next generation of explorers and encourage them to pursue careers in science and technology.

ESI Design was founded in 1977 by interactive designer Edwin Schlossberg, and is based in New York City. Clients include leading cultural institutions and corporations such as Sony, Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island, Children's Museum of Los Angeles, Best Buy, and McDonald's
